PROJECT SUPPORT UPDATE: ONE CHAPEL COMPLETE, ONE ON THE WAY
OUR LADY OF REFUGE CHAPEL AND COMMUNITY CENTER:
BUILDING for the MIND, BODY AND SOUL of the VILLAGE!
Chellapanpettai is a small village, a sub parish of Budalur in the Diocese of Thanjavur in Southeast India and home to about 200 Catholic families.
In early February 2010, CCST wired $11,600 to begin construction of a chapel and community center, to replace the one devastated by a lightning strike and cyclone. This work is the latest in CCST's six-year partnership with Thanjavur.
